In addition to being one of the founders of The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm, our Gran was an artist in a kitchen that was rich with the scent of baking cookies, pies and yeasted breads and rolls. A plate of this soft and tender white bread was always on the dinner table at Gran’s, unless the last batch was toasted and buttered for breakfast. Steve inherited her white-and-blue proofing pot and carries on the tradition. The milk and honey add richness and sweetness that makes this bread irresistible.
